Two of our U.S. manufacturing facilities received recognition for outstanding safety records.
Our Poplar Bluff, Mo., facility, which makes most of our split systems and gas furnaces, received an award for exemplary safety performance in 2011 from State Representative Todd Richardson. During his visit in June 2012, Richardson complimented NORDYNE on our value to the state of Missouri, especially the investment we make in employees through our commitment to providing a safe workplace.
Earlier this year, our Dyersburg, Tenn., manufacturing plant received the Tennessee OSHA Commissioner’s Award of Excellence for achieving 800,000 hours worked without a restricted or lost time injury.
We’re proud of these awards because our commitment to safety is also what allows us to achieve a high level of quality in our products.
