ST. LOUIS, Dec. 8th, 2020 − Nortek Global HVAC (HVAC) manufacturer of HVAC products announced today a $3M investment into its 350,000-square-foot Dyersburg, Tennessee manufacturing plant to modernize the facility and implement a new production line for its data center air handling unit to respond to the growing demand of hyperscale and colocation data center customers.

Digitization continues to drive double digit growth in the data center market, creating significant business opportunity for Nortek’s sustainable, efficient data center cooling solutions. Nortek’s technology roadmap builds on our engineering innovation and manufacturing experience of products like StatePoint. “The secular tailwind provides an opportunity to capture growth in a segment of the market that we know well and have a right to win” said Philip Windham, Group President, HVAC, St. Louis.

Over the next 12 months, Nortek will invest to modernize the Dyersburg facility, add to its production capabilities and implement state of the art manufacturing to position itself as a leading provider for hyperscale and colocation customers.

The Dyersburg facility has been manufacturing HVAC since 2003.
